I had the pleasure of working with Joe Hardenbook, Educational Technology Coordinator, Research/Instruction Librarian & Assistant Professor at Millikin University Staley Library, last week Wednesday. He did a presentation for Rolling Prairie in our OPAL room on "Is Facebook for Your Library." Joe did a great job of reviewing the features and setup for a Fans Facebook page. Time to Test Drive

I'm attending Jackie Meyer's session at Rolling Prairie Library System today. Jackie is the Librarian at Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Illinois. This is a hands on follow-up to the earlier session, "Web 2.0: Blogs, LibraryThing, and Wikis" with Sarah Hill, the Paris High School Librarian.

We are each creating our own Blogs, but since I'd already created this before Computers in Libraries Conference, I thought I'd add an entry for this session.

Well it turns out that I didn't get my iPod Touch properly set up so that I could post directly to my blog. I did manage to take some moble notes using the moble tools that I had downloaded, so I will clean up and post some of the notes now that I'm back.

Well tomorrow I leave for the 2008 Computers in Libraries conference, and I thought that I would try Blogging as a way to keep track of all the new and interesting things I learn.
